Kerri and Philip Jarnagin are residents of the Dripping Springs and Southwest Austin area for the last five years. They live in beautiful Deerfield Estates II and have a wonderful daughter, Sierra Colby Jarnagin, age 13. Both have worked in corporate America for many years and have recently transitioned into entrepreneurialism and a desire to grow together in life and business.
Kerri worked for Enterprise Rent-A-Car for the last 11 years as Payroll Manager for one of the company’s largest divisions. She has extensive accounting and financial management experience and has earned an Associates Degree in Accounting and Business Management. She has earned her Texas General Lines Life, Accident, and Health license and her Texas Property & Casualty license and has committed herself to helping clients protect themselves and achieve their ultimate financial and long term goals. Kerri’s Farmers Insurance agency, named Hill Country Insurance Agency, will focus on Home, Auto, Life, Specialty, and Commercial lines of protection.
Philip attended Southwest Texas State University, now Texas State University, graduating in 1990 with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a major in Accounting. Philip worked for several corporations in the wholesale B2B industry, most notably The Home Depot. While employed for The Home Depot, Philip was a National Account Manager, managing major corporate clients such as Trammell Crow and Lincoln Property Company. Philip managed the family’s Ford Lincoln Mercury dealership in Bay City, Texas from their purchase in May 2005 until November of 2005. After this great education in the car business from his uncle, Jim Fite, and father S. S. Jarnagin, the family decided to open a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle sales dealership in Austin in conjunction with a first-class insurance agency owned and managed by his wife, Kerri.
